Lisa opened Bravo! with over 25 years of dance training while studying with some of the premier dance instructors/choreographers in the country. She began her training at the Donna Miceli Dance Center under the direction of Donna Miceli and Jeannine Martin. Lisa continued her training and received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she studied with renowned choreographer Jan Van Dyke.
Lisa’s dance abilities accompanied by her education have allowed her to perform professionally with the Dance Prism, under the direction of Mary Demaso. Her performance credits include The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella. Lisa also had the privilege of performing as a guest soloist with Arts United, Washington D.C. a Modern Dance company that the Washington Post hailed “a company with obvious potential and something new to offer.”
Lisa began her teaching career in 1992 and has been diligently working to perfect her dance education skills ever since by teaching a diverse blend of classes at various studios throughout New England. In addition, to ensure she is educating her students with the most current dance techniques available, Lisa continues her dance education by taking master classes and attending dance conventions annually. Lisa’s passion and love for dance can be seen clearly through her daily interaction with her students and it is her hope and intention that those same feelings are instilled in every student that she and her staff have the privilege to teach.
Emily began her dance training at a young age at Janet Gilday School of Dance and continued her training at Bravo! School of Dance where she was a member of Bravo!'s Performing Groups and was the first graduate of Bravo! School of Dance in 2010. She went on to major in Dance at Dean College, where she continued studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern Dance and Hip Hop. Emily is also a much loved, certified Pure Barre instructor. As a dedicated teacher, she brings her knowledge and enthusiasm for dance and fitness into the classroom and is always smiling!. She teaches Hip Hop and Modern Dance.
Nicole began dancing at the age of 3 at the Donna Miceli Dance Center where she was a member of the Kidsdance Company and Youth Dance Company. She attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned a B.F.A in Dance. She was a member of the University Dancers, UMass Dance Team and the Funk Club and choreographed for the Student Dance Concert and Alive With Dance Concert. Nicole went on to earn a Masters in Education from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell and has been a beloved teacher in Tewksbury, MA for over ten years where she is the choreographer for the Bulldogs on Broadway Drama Club. She joined our Staff in 2013 and brings an incredible energy, style and passion to the classroom that inspires students to grow and expand their knowledge of dance. Ms. Nicole teaches Tap and Contemporary.
